Plumbing Perils: Insights from Hardin County Home Inspections
After conducting numerous home inspections in Hardin County, I’ve encountered some creative but problematic homeowner repairs. As their homes age, homeowners often attempt fixes beyond their skill level, undeterred by the complexity of the tasks.
In my most recent inspection, I discovered three plumbing issues within just five feet of each other. The picture showed HVAC duct tape used to plug a leak, a rubber wrap to stop another, and leaking cast iron drain pipes. It was a perfect storm of plumbing problems.
This highlights the importance of having a professional inspection when buying a home in Hardin County or anywhere else in Kentucky. Experience matters, so make sure to call your Home Inspector to thoroughly examine your new home in Radcliff, Hardin County, Elizabethtown, Louisville, or Vine Grove.
